The conference center is easy to reach: 2 minutes walk from the Port Royal RER station, 5 mn walk from Jardin du Luxembourg, 20mn walk from Gare Montparnasse.

Program of the conference

EMC 2025 is a 2-days conference dedicated to Mars exploration. It offers everyone the opportunity to hear experts in astrophysics, astronautics, robotics, life support, and many other domains, exposing their view on Mars science, Mars exploration by robots, possible scenarios for human missions to Mars and diverse activities for the preparation of these missions, especially in Mars analog terrains. Many representatives of the European chapters of the Mars society will also present their activity in their respective country. Robert Zubrin, expert in astronautics and President of the Mars Society, will be there to talk about the possible next steps of Mars exploration.

Call for papers / presentations

The 2025 European Mars Conference invites presentations addressing all aspects of Mars exploration and settlement. We welcome proposals covering topics such as science, technology, engineering, politics, economics, public policy, space advocacy, international cooperation, and more.

If you are interested in sharing your insights during the two-day event (November 28-29 at the Sarrailh Centre de Conférence in Paris, France), please submit an abstract of 150-300 words by September 15th for consideration.

If accepted, a presentation of your work / study / ideas will be expected during the two-day event. A dedicated session will be organized on Saturday morning. In addition, we are intended to publish the proceedings of the conference. If you are interested, you will be asked to send a short paper, 4 pages maximum. We will collect all abstracts, papers (and presentations, if alllowed) and share them with all participants.
